I used to think I couldn’t possibly add Reels to my ever-expanding list of things I needed to be doing to grow my business


I was so busy with all of the other things I had on my ‘work’ plate, plus all of the commitments from my ‘personal’ plate too. I would dip into Reels, make one every couple of weeks and then forget again for a while. I was making them for fun, lip syncing to Schitt's Creek audio & they weren’t really aligned with what I do in my business.

Then I took part in a 14 day challenge where I committed to posting a Reel every single day, and something clicked for me. I realized that, like it or not, the platform has changed. Static posts are not getting the reach that they used to and Instagram are pushing Reels big time.

I saw that I had a choice; to stay stuck with my old content creation habits, or to form new ones. And so it began. I started watching hours of YouTube tutorials and following content creators on Instagram. I signed up for courses and learned everything I could about how to do this Reels thing, but without having to be a full time content creator.



And I do believe I have cracked it. 

I have reached a place where I can create Reels with ease and I am ENJOYING IT! My Reels are not going viral ( that isn’t really my focus; more about that soon) but they are reaching thousands more accounts that I would otherwise have no hope of reaching and I have more enquiries via Instagram DMs than I have ever had before (THIS is really my focus)



I changed my content creation methods and that changed the way that Instagram works for me & my business.

Fact.



Here's some more facts for you. Contrary to what you may currently believe, you can make awesome Reels, even if YOU:

• Have never made a video in your life, let alone a Reel
• Have a really small following (wanted to say ‘reely’ but resisted)
• Tried making a Reel once and then threw your phone across the room
• Are camera shy and hate the idea of dancing and pointing to imaginary words
• Don't have  a ton of time to commit to content creation 

I remember the day that I first got Reels on Instagram and couldn’t wait to play with it, only to find that I had NO CLUE what I was doing! (as a proud techie, I HATED that feeling!)

Like any new thing that you learn, it can seem like an insurmountable task at first but if we break it down into bite sized pieces and keep it super simple, it will suddenly feel more doable. 

And though it may take you more time than posting up an inspirational quote for the day, your reach and return on (time) investment will be soooo much bigger.

So we are making a plan to walk before we run; to start from scratch.

I am staunchly opposed to overwhelming my people with too much information in one go. My aim is to get you on board the Reels Train and supercharge your sluggish insta account with the basic knowledge required - no unnecessary frills and fluff added.
